Toronto We’re coming for you!

Hey Toronto Me-Time lovers – you spoke and we listened: we’re coming for you!

Over the last few weeks, we’ve been hard at work meeting with the salons and barbershops you recommended ahead of ILUK’s big launch on December 8th.

TO has some of the best spots in Canada for everything beauty and grooming. We are so excited to be working with inspiring salon partners who share our vision of helping people book a last-minute appointment at the best places in the city. So, without further ado, here’s a sneak peek of some of the awesome salons with whom we’re partnering in our first five Toronto hoods. We hope you’re as pumped as we are!

Financial District

Dean Delmonte & Company– 145 King Street West

Toronto - Dean Delmonte & Company

Conveniently located in the PATH just underneath St Andrew Station, Dean Delmonte and his team of hair gurus have got you covered with over 25 years of expertise.

One of the few hair salons in the city that open at 7am, Dean Delmonte can get you looking your best before that important 9am meeting, while feeling right at home thanks to the salon’s stylish interiors. Pro tip: Keep an eye out for their upcoming Holiday packages offering a glass of bubbly with your blow-out.

Entertainment District

Hidden Gem Hair Stuff – 29 Stewart St

Hidden Gem Hair Salon

Marie-Eve Faucher is the badass owner of Hidden Gem Hair Stuff, a bright oasis neatly tucked away from the hustle of King and Bathurst that will have you feeling right at home. Her cozy hideaway is truly one of the hood’s best-kept secrets, where her skilled and artful expertise will have you looking your best.

Queen West

Bolo Body Love – 364 Richmond St W

Toronto - BODY LOVE

Richmond and Spadina offers some of TO’s best and most original spots for the modern-day hustler and Bolo is no exception. Short for BodyLove, Bolo is a boxing gym that offers killer workouts, a café with healthy eats and a salon, all in one. This place is for real: where else in the city can people get an updo after working on their uppercut?

Axe and Hatchet Grooming Club – 101 Yorkville Ave

Axe and Hatchet Barbershop Toronto

Axe and Hatchet is perhaps Yorkville’s raddest spot, where owner Dante and his team of barbers offer a laid-back and welcoming atmosphere to all those looking for a fresh cut and shave. While Yorkville can sometimes feel old and stuffy, Axe and Hatchet offers a decidedly welcome change of pace. Clients can relax with a welcome beverage on the plush leather sofas while they wait, fully confident in the exceptional service that is to come.

BSIDE Beauty – 1148 Queen St E

Bside Beauty Salon

While there is no shortage of awesome salons in Leslieville, BSIDE takes it to the next level by being the neighbourhood’s one-stop shop for everything beauty. (Mani/pedis, lash extensions, makeup, microblading and full wax services.) They also have a bar with an awesome menu (did someone say champagne?) that will have you feeling fancy. The exposed brick and sleek design add to overall experience. Bonus: they use all-natural Toronto-based lotions and sugar scrubs for their manicures and pedicures.
